Mandy purchased her first Manchester Terrier in 1989, one thing you will find out is how hard they are to come across.

Manchesters are recognised by the Kennel Club (UK) as being a vulnerable native breed, be prepared to join a waiting list and prepare to travel to obtain the right puppy from the right breeder.

Mandy has seen a lot of people come and go in the breed and has memories from all the top dogs that she was fortunate to see.

Dog showing was a hobby, a chance to make new friends and travel the country.

Slowly becoming more interested in showing Mandy became an active member of the BMTC. The committee role became very demanding with very little appreciation for the dedication required so after many years she stood down from the BMTC to concentrate on her role as Secretary of West Midland Terrier Society.

Coming close to walking away from her beloved breed, Gareth spoke to one of the Top Breeders in the UK and arranged for a surprise.  This surprise was Elsa, Digelsa Dark Indulgence.  Mandy was back!!, but this time with Gareth by her side.

Mandy awards CC's in the breed, has passed a breed specific seminar and all required courses.
